According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, the replacement of corrugated metal pipes for a trench that spans Arkansas Highway 214, about 2.2 miles east of the Poinsett County community in Fisher, will involve closing the highway on Wednesday.

If weather permits, staff will close Arkansas 214 east of Fisher from 8 am.

The highway is expected to be closed for one day. The department stated that drivers should use alternative routes to their destinations on the day the cross drainage was installed. Traffic barrels, message boards and signs will control traffic.
