GRE pipes also have good heat resistance and frost resistance. This helps pipes withstand different temperatures.

GRE pipes have good operating and design temperatures compared to high density polyethylene pipes. GRE pipes do not undergo stress even at high temperatures. These pipes can handle more pressure than HDPE pipes. Their installation process is also quite easy. HDPE pipes are only available up to 600 diameters. Therefore, GRE pipes can be used above 600 mm. Life of GRE pipes is much longer than that of HDPE pipes.
