Saipem S.p.A awarded Corinth Pipeworks a contract to develop an onshore and offshore natural gas pipeline by Gastrade. The FSRU, Floating Storage and Regasification Unit, will connect to the National Natural Gas Transmission System of Greece via a 28 km long pipeline. The LNG gas will be transported through the pipeline to Northeastern Europe and possibly Ukraine. According to Saipem,  Corinth Pipeworks's proposal was the most advantageous since it provided a technically and economically practical solution. Corinth's offer includes 28 km of 30" SAWL steel Pipes. Anti-corrosion and concrete weight coating are also included. The company's plant in Thisvi, Viotia, Greece, will handle the pipes' manufacture and external coating, with the delivery of the pipes expected to kick off in 2023. Since the pipeline plays a significant role in the smooth energy transition and diversity of supply to the regions of Northeastern Europe, developing the onshore and offshore pipeline is pivotal to Greece's energy security. The pipeline's construction and operation are set to bolster Greece's strategic role as a key energy hub for Northeastern Europe's region, offering alternative sources and natural gas supply routes while also bolstering the security of supply and energy autonomy in an unfortunate period.

I work as a welder, and I have nearly twenty years of experience, and welding is all kinds of electrodes, as well as Mig-Mag, Fcaw, tanks, pipelines, etc. Is there room for me, but my English is weak, thank you...
